At CarbonSix, we raise our glass to individual expression by inviting you to craft and personalise your own gin, vodka or rum right here online to be hand-made for you by our distillers in Takapuna, Auckland. Our Tailored Spirits range is your first step towards creating your very own Gin, Rum or Vodka. Everything is tailored to your personalization: recipe, alcohol percentage, label.
With over 30 different botanicals & fruits to choose from for your very own Spirit. You will also get to decide your ABV (Alcohol Percentage) based on your preference.

TAILORED RUM
Our Tailored Rum range is about having fun, exploring new ideas and tasting phenomenal flavours.
Just like making a pizza, making your own Rum has never been easier.
Step 1 – Select your preferred Botanicals, Herbs & Spices
Although you’d be able to choose a maximum of five herbs and spices, we suggest you concentrate on three of them (in order not to overcomplicate if it’s your first time tailoring your own Gin ????).
We’ve also pre-selected Juniper Berries for you upon your selection of Tailored Gin; because in all types of gin, the predominant flavour must have Juniper Berries. It’s essentially the basis for all Gins.
Step 2 – Select your preferred Fruits, Berries and or Candies (If any)
You’d be able to choose a maximum of 2 ingredients from this category to include in your personalized Gin should you wish to. We do have to warn you that not everything goes well together so we suggest you choose your ingredients carefully. For example, we’d personally advice against choosing Rhubarb and Cocoa Powder. However, we won’t judge you for choosing them should that be your favourite combination. You do not need to select this category should you decide not to include these ingredients.
Step 3 – Select your preferred post distillation infusion ingredient (If any)
At CarbonSix, you’d also be able to decide if you’d like to have any of these ingredients infused in your tailored Gin post distillation. You’d be able to choose a maximum of 2 ingredients from this category to include in your personalized Gin should you prefer them. These ingredients will be left in your bottle post distillation for further infusion. You do not need to select this category should you decide not to include these ingredients.

Molasses is pre-selected, removing it will make your rum clear.
Step 4 – Select your botanical strength for each ingredient.
The next step would be to select the strength of your botanicals for each ingredient as well! To simplify things, you’d be able to choose the strength of your botanicals from 3 different levels; Just a Hint, A Good Measure or Full Blown. Whatever it is, we’d adjust the strength of each botanical to get it just right in accordance to your preference.
Step 5 - Select your after distillation botanical strength for each ingredient.
Based on your preferences, we adjust the strength of each botanical to get it just right.
Step 6 – Select your desired percentage of Alcohol
This part is simple, let us know what percentage of alcohol you’d like your Gin to be and we’ll adjust it according to your preference.

Add a finishing touches to your tailored Gin by personalizing your label. There will be 5 fields that you’d be able to personalized on our label. Please note that we also reserve the right to censor messages that are profane and or insulting.

Allows us to tailor your spirits to your exact specification, and to produce it just one bottle at a time – or in quantities of up to 60 bottles. For orders over 60 bottles, please send an enquiry to info@carbonsix.co.nz to check with us what our lead time and prices will be. We can also tailor for barmen, cocktail bars, restaurants, hotels, companies and or private entity looking for their own spirit.
Our structure allows us to craft gin, vodka or rum according to the client’s desires, making a spirit perfect for their taste, with their own label, even for small orders. No matter what your imagination can dream up – CarbonSix Distillery has both the expertise and experience required to make your flavour aspirations a reality. The usage of multiple small copper stills allows us to fulfil customers desires and make our company unique within the Aotearoa craft distillers scene.
